Persistence of Vision @ downtown independent

I just got home from the film exhibition/screening/potluck thing and I loved it!!! My friend had told me he was taking classes @ the echo park film center, and I thought that was really neat. When he said he was gonna have a screening today, i was like dude i'm gonna be there for sure!!! I knew I was going to have a good time, but what I didn't know was that I would walk away with inspiration and just the awesome feeling of being involved in something really cool, as well as meeting alot of really chill people. I'd never been to downtown independent before, and the moment I walked in, I knew i was going to have a really good time. The place had a really chill vibe, like somewhere I'd wanna be constantly stopping by and seeing what's up, and the people who were at the event were really chill and friendly. The films were really deep and profound, and just emanated a sense of community and a love and fascination with art. I'm really thinking that I'm gonna take classes there for the fall semester. Overall, I had an amazing time and I'm definitely going back for more.
